Liana Boghosian

Production Operations

Liana is a founding member of the Reid R. Sacco AYA Cancer Alliance. A childhood friend of Reid, Liana is inspired everyday by the person he was and the courageous battle he fought. Currently, Liana resides in South Boston and works at NESN as a Supervisor in the Operations group. To spread awareness of AYA cancers and raise additional funds for Connecticut Children's Medical Center's "Reid R. Sacco Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program", Liana orchestrates the Reid's Run 5k in Farmington, CT. In her spare time, Liana enjoys videography, running outside and eating pizza.

Reid Lavoie, Esq.

Legal

Reid has proudly served on the Alliance since its inception in 2005, helping ensure the special spirit of his lifelong friend Reid Sacco is kept alive. Reid earned his JD degree from Massachusetts School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Environmental Chemistry.  When not work or preparing for Reid's Ride, you can find Reid with his dog hiking mountains or in his hometown of Lynnfield cheering for perennial dominant New England sports teams.

Colin Doody

Media Technology

Colin is the President and Co-Founder of Darkwind Media Ltd., a video game development studio in Rochester, NY, with notable titles Marvel's Iron Man VR and Wulverblade. He earned his B.S. in New Media / Information Technology in 2008 and his M.S. in Game Design and Development in 2010 from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Colin and Reid were long-time friends and the two graduated from Lynnfield High School in 2003. Colin recognizes Reid as a critical part of his current success, as Reid encouraged him to pursue his childhood dreams of developing video games as a profession.

Meredith Nash

Product Management

Meredith has served on the Alliance since its inception in 2005.  She is the Co-Director of the Reid’s Ride Comedy Night (along with Mike Marra).  Reid and Meredith were inseparable cousins, with birthdates just five months apart. The two were extremely close.  Meredith graduated cum laude from Babson College in 2007.  While close by at Babson during Reid’s gallant 2-year battle, the two were able to share many special moments including countless Red Sox games and nights laughing at Conan O’Brien while in the hospital.  Meredith is Senior Product Manager (Global), Energy Running/Collaborations at New Balance.  She lives in Andover with her husband, Joe, their two children William Reid and Whitney Grace and their cat Tigger.

Mike Marra

Operations

Mike is Detective, North Reading Police Department. Mike was a live-long friend of Reid Sacco and has served on the Alliance Advisory Board since its inception in 2005.  He has worked closely with the Sacco’s on the growth and development of the organization. Mike organizes the regular board meetings for the Alliance and oversees the medical and safety operations for the Annual Reid’s Ride Mike holds a Masters in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. Mike resides in Lynnfield with his wife Christine and Siberian Husky “Storm”.

Jackie Tewksbury, MS

Information Design

Jackie was a friend of Reid’s and has been a member of the Board of Directors for the AYA Cancer Alliance since its inception in 2005.  Since earning her Masters in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University, she has worked as an User Experience Designer and Researcher for many marketing and technology businesses across New England.  Currently, she is living in New Hampshire with her husband Larry, daughter Maddie, and dog Tucker.

Meg Sacco

Promotion

Meghan Sacco is a Technical Account Manager at Philips Healthcare working on Long Term Strategic Partnerships and Service Solutions contracts. Meghan just moved back to her home state of Massachusetts and excited to be part of the AYA Cancer Alliance Advisory board. Meghan received her BA from Roger Williams University in Communications and Marketing.

Kelly Dillon

Events

Kelly was first cousin of Reid’s. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Endicott College in May 2021. She is currently a J.D. candidate at Suffolk Law School.  Kelly has been a member of the Alliance for more than 9 years.

Nathan Bankoff, MD

Medicine

Nathan worked at the Institute for Clinical Research & Health Policy Studies at Tufts a health economist.  Nathan served as a Peer Navigator at the Reid R. Sacco AYA Program at Tufts Medical Center.  Nathan is currently an attending physician at Maine Medical Center, Portland, ME, where he completed his residency in Family Medicine. He received his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine and his BA in Economics at Tufts University.  Nathan and his family are long-time friends of the Sacco's and he has been affiliated with the Alliance since its inception.

Chi Chu, MD

Medicine

Chi is currently a nephrologist at the University of California, San Francisco, CA, where he completed his fellowship in Nephrology. As part of his fellowship, he completed a Master's degree in clinical research. He received his MD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and his AB in Chemistry at Dartmouth College. Chi and his family have been long-time friends of the Saccos, and he has been affiliated with the Alliance since its inception.

Weston Sacco, MD

Alliance Co-Founder

Weston is Co-founder, with his mother and father, of the Alliance.  As Reid's only sibling Weston has helped shape the path and trajectory of this  all-volunteer organization inspired by his late brother's own battle with AYA cancer.  Today Weston is an attending physician in Emergency Medicine at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.  He received his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. He lives in Brookhaven, GA with his wife Lindsay, their dog Harper, and their cat Lexi.

Jude Greeno

Finance & Accounting

Jude (they/them) has been a Board Member and advocate since the Alliance Advisory Board’s inception in 2005. Jude holds a B.S. from Boston College with concentrations in both Finance and Accounting and is a licensed CPA in the state of California. They currently work as Corporate Controller at NantWorks, LLC headquartered in El Segundo, California and reside in West Hollywood, California with their husky toddler, Mochi. Growing up, Jude always looked up to and aspired to be like their older cousin, Reid. Among other things, Jude and Reid shared a deep love of music. In their spare time they can often be found either at a concert, hiking, or otherwise taking in the Southern California sunshine.

Meaghan Nelson

Marketing & Communications

Meaghan (Harrigan) Nelson is Strategic Account Director at Brandwatch, West Palm Beach. She work in the market research industryin Sales, Business Development, Marketing Strategy, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Strategic Partnerships.Meaghan has been on the Alliance Advisory Board since 2005.  She was a close friend of Reid's and graduated with him in 2003 from Lynnfield High School. Meg received her BA from Loyola University Marketing and Communications.

Matt Parziale

Systems Engineering

Matt has been volunteering for Reid’s Ride since 2012 and recently has become a member of the Alliance Advisory Board. He graduated from Lynnfield High School in 2015 and from UMass: Lowell in 2019 with a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering. Matt works as a Technologist for Progressive causes. Most recently, he worked on the 2020 Presidential Race as a Systems Engineer. He and his family are good friends with the Saccos.

Leah Sacco

Social Media

Leah was Reid’s godchild and first cousin. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology in May 2022. She is currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy candidate at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Leah has been a member of the AYA Cancer Alliance since 2014 and has more recently joined the Alliance Advisory Board.
